Excellent!!!

Be forewarned, this story is not for the chemically sensitive. It was written with such life-like strokes that I could smell the bleach! I don't know how he did it, but the author managed to write a brilliant story, with fully developed characters and storyline in 13 pages. I can't recommend it enough!

Kafkaesque Symphony With Alien Jellyfish

I read Lites' story twice now and I will have to read it at least once more. I like it, even though I'm still not quite sure what to make of it. Bleach has a Kafkaesque quality to it; it's not a story that will leave you happy in the end, but one that'll make you think. I found Lites' use of language very poetic at times: short alliterations and rhyming words strewn in the text here and there, giving it rhythm that befits the movements of its fluorescent hero, an alien jellyfish. Mr. J. as only some may call him loves the music of Sigur Ros which makes him an alien showing off excellent taste, me thinks.
Bleach is a short story well worth reading. It won't take more than half an hour of your time. Unless - like me - you'll read it again and again and again...

Damn, I'm kind of shocked.

This story is excellent! I'm not usually one for short stories. I like a story I can sink my teeth into, and frankly, most of the short stories I have read are seriously lacking in things like character development.
This story has unbelievable character development, even in such a short form. When it was done, I looked up and said to my wife, "I don't believe how much I care about these 4 characters (one is jellyfish) as much as I do. How the hell did he do that?"
It really is an excellent story and I can't wait to read something in a longer format from this author. I can certainly say it is the best use of .99 cents I can think of. Well done!
